WAO! ANOTHER NEW IPOB FAMILY HAS BEEN CREATED AGAIN IN OBIGBO IGWEOCHA BIAFRA LAND

WAO! ANOTHER NEW IPOB FAMILY HAS BEEN CREATED AGAIN IN OBIGBO IGWEOCHA BIAFRA LAND

 By Ogochukwu Nnanna
 For Family Writers

Another inauguration which hits the whole Obigbo and environs took place on 10th of April 2017.  A new zone named "Victory zone" is bone and there is jubilation in the whole Komkom in Obigbo Igweocha Biafra land. This is the highest inauguration that has ever took place in Igweocha as both the national Coordinator, State coordinator, local government  coordinator, East Senatorial zone Coordinator, national welfare leader and all the state inauguration teams came out in mass to inaugurate this formidable zone called Victory zone. The younger sister to our leader mazi Nnamdi kanu was also present at occasion.  In fact the crowd that came to honor this great event is uncountable and I don't think that we have ever recorded such number in any inauguration before. That and many more things which happened during this great event make this new zone to be so unique and special. The event ground was beautified throughout with Biafra colours and all the members of the new zone dressed in Biafra colour with mufflers round their necks. To crown it all, they also beautify all the inauguration teams with the same mufflers which also made the face of the high table looked so wonderful. One can even misinterpreted the inauguration to traditional wedding or child dedication as nothing was lacked in the said event.

After the inauguration has taken place, there was series of advice and word of encouragements from some of the inauguration teams and other high officials who was present at the occasion like mazi Ojukwu and host of others. The most interesting part of the whole show was that the person appointed as the Coordinator of the new zone was an ordained bishop from Glory house gospel church.  And this is to show that the executives of the new zone will do well since this servant of God is there to lead and guide them. The bishop who is the Coordinator of this victory zone did not fell to express his joy and gratitude publicly and promised that he will make sure that this new zone will grow to the extent of yielding more units. He also declare their full support to the Leader of the indigenous people of Biafra mazi Nnamdi kanu and his deputy Uche Mefor and promised that they will continue to work in chain of command and will make sure that his executives and all his members obey the central command.

He advised all who are in one way or the order sabotaging the efforts of mazi Nnamdi kanu to rethink and to repent or they will face the wrought of God. After this, princess the younger sister to mazi Nnamdi kanu who was also present at the inauguration made her own vibrant speech to the people and urged everyone to remain resolute and focused. In her speech, she said that Nnamdi kanu represents the dead and the living. And he has vowed with his life and that of his family to restore Biafra. She also said that if you don't respect Nnamdi kanu, respect him for the fact that he left his comfort zone and came down to Nigeria to sacrifice his life for his people to be liberated from mental slavery. She also said that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is proud of IPOB families in Igweocha and she urged them to continue to remain resolute and never be deceived or discouraged by anybody. For the restoration of Biafra is almost at the tip of the finger.

Of a truth IPOB Igweocha is waxing stronger and stronger on daily basis and I don't think that they have no close rivalries as far as Biafra struggle is concerned. And i said "Kudos" to them. It is now left for other states to challenge them in this struggle so that their names will begin to blossom like that of Igweocha.Biafra restoration is a collective effort and together we shall achieve Biafra maka na Igwe bu ike!.

BOMBSHELL!!! WE WOULD ALL DIE RATHER THAN LETTING BIAFRA BREAK OUT OF NIGERIA - Northern leaders

BOMBSHELL!!! WE WOULD ALL DIE RATHER THAN LETTING BIAFRA BREAK OUT OF NIGERIA - Northern leaders

It was shocking, as Northern leaders on Wednesday, vowed to resist any move by the Southerners, to pressurize President Muhamamdu Buhari, to restructure or divide Nigeria.

During a meeting in Abuja, the Northern leaders, who were members of the 2014 National Conference, spoke on the platform of the Northern Delegates Forum, NDF.

According to the forum: “The North was not given fair representation in the Conference with 189 delegates, despite its landmass of 70 percent and 55 percent of the country’s population.

“Therefore, we were not happy with the report, and have come out with this second report and communiqué.”

Bashiru Dalhatu, who was a Minister of Power and Steel in the Gen. Sani Abacha government, while presenting his keynote address said: “The 2014 National Conference had 492 members and the North, which constitutes about 70 percent of the country’s landmass, and 55 percent of its population was allocated 189 delegates, while the South with only 30 percent of the landmass, and 45 percent of its population was given an incredible 305 delegates.

“This went against sensible demographics, law, and practice, which could have hardly been done in good faith. Certainly, it was designed to put in particular our delegates, and the North in general at a disadvantage.

“All attempts to get the President Goodluck Jonathan administration, including pleas by well meaning Nigerians who genuinely wanted a National Conference, to reflect the diversity and complexity of the Nigerian society, fell on deaf ears.”

The leaders also noted that it had become fashionable these days for all manner of people to clamour for the restructuring of Nigeria, along some undefined contours and outside in some cases, contrary to the existing constitutional order.

“To reiterate and maintain our position that the report of the confab is of questionable legal validity, the outcome of a process that lacks popular mandate or support, and major decisions were arrived at by undemocratic means or at variance with due process.

“To disassociate the NDF from any attempt by any group to seek to implement or force the Federal Government or any of its institutions to use the report of the Conference, under any guise for the purpose of restructuring Nigeria.

“To call upon any group of sponsors or individuals agitating for any form of restructuring of the federation, first and foremost, to respect the existing constitutional order and to seek to do so within the bounds and parameters stipulated under our constitution and law. To suggest otherwise would lead to chaos and anarchy,” the NDF said.

BREAKING!!! militants threatens war if Kanu is not released in seven days

BREAKING!!! militants threatens war if Kanu is not released in seven days

YENAGOA- A new militant group, Red Egbesu Water Lions, has surfaced in the Niger Delta region, just as suspected militants, Tuesday night, blew up the Sagbama-Tuomo gas line, belonging to Nigerian Agip Oil Company, NAOC, at Egbembiri, Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State .

A security source, who confirmed the explosion, said: “Egbembiri is a border town between Bayelsa and Delta states. They destroyed the Ayama section of the Ogboinbiri-Tuomo gas pipeline with dynamites at about 9.00 pm on Tuesday.

That line was earlier repaired, last week and again vandalized.” “We, however, suspect that dispute over the surveillance contract led to the attack. The Agip pipeline links major oil facilities in Delta and Bayelsa States,” he added.

The new militant group in a statement by its Creek Network Coordinator, “General” Torunanawei Latei, said it was teaming up with the Niger Delta Avengers and Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

“It issued the Federal Government a seven-day ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu.

JUST IN: A REPLY TO THE STANCE OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT ON THE UNITY OF NIGERIA. by Femi-Fani Kayode

JUST IN: A REPLY TO THE STANCE OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT ON THE UNITY OF NIGERIA. by Femi-Fani Kayode

THE MARCH OF THE ETHNIC  AND A FRIENDLY WARNING FOR THE BRITISH AND FRENCH AMBASSADORS  (PART 1)

In 1941 during the course of the Second World War, the most famous alumna of my old school Harrow and the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Sir Winston Churchill, said the following words to General Bernard Montgomery,  who was also known as the “Spartan General”, the hero of the Battle of Alamein, the Commander of the famous British Desert Rats and the Field Marshall of the British Armed Forces. He said,

“Monty, never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy”.

These are powerful and inspiring words from one of the greatest leaders that the world has ever known.

Today I share those words and sentiments with every Nigerian who yearns for freedom from the bondage of ethnic slavery and religious bigotry and who believes that the only way forward is to restructure or redefine Nigeria.

Those of us that have these noble aspirations will “never yield to force” and we will “never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy”.  Like Shakespeare’s Macbeth we shall be “bold, bloody and resolute” and if necessary we shall “fight until the flesh be hacked from our bones”.

No matter what comes our way we shall be encouraged, we shall walk tall, we shall stand firm and we shall stand strong.

This is because our cause is just and even though our enemies may have today, we know that tomorrow belongs to us. Again even though the night may be dark, we know that joy comes in the  morning!

Whatever the powers that be in Empire Nigeria throw our way we shall not bow and we shall not be cowed.

Like our Lord and Saviour and Commander in Chief, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of the Living God once did on the cross two thousand years ago, for the glory that lies ahead, we shall take their taunts and insults, bear their horrendous persecution, endure their malevolence and wickedness and despise the shame.

We shall stand our ground, hold our heads up high, fight a good fight and, by the grace of the Living God, in the end, we shall prevail.

We draw strength from the fact that we are not alone in this struggle. Others that have also suffered injustice and the most brutal form of subjugation and repression from their oppressors have similar hopes and aspirations as ours.

Consider the nation of Scotland. Her people are yearning to have another referendum on whether or not to leave the United Kingdom in 2018.

When Nicola Sturgeon, the leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party, announced their intention I did not hear Theresa May, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, throw insults and threats at her or accuse her of treason.

I did not hear the French government or the French Ambassador to the UK telling the Scots that they would never be allowed to have their way and that they should perish the thought of Scottish independence.

Yet when it comes to the affairs of Nigeria it appears that everyone feels that they can tell us what to do.

For example Denys Gauer, the French Ambassador to Nigeria, recently said that those that were agitating for Biafra were indulging in an exercise in futility and that they would never achieve their dream or ambition. What a sad testimony and sorry tale this is.

It appears that the man knows little about the deep resolve of those who are fighting for their freedom and frankly he needs to learn a thing or two about the history of his own country before he pontificates to us about ours.

His unsolicited counsel is both misguided and inappropriate and we completely reject it.

The French people, since the days of the Great Revolution of 1789 and bold leaders and reformer like Maximilien Robespierre, Jean-Paul Marat and years later, the greatest of them all, Napolean Bonaparte, have always prided themselves on being the friends of the subjugated and the deprived.

They have always been the champions of liberty and freedom. They have always resisted oppression and tyranny. They must not stop now.

To make matters worse Paul Arkwright, the British Ambassador to Nigeria, threw his hat into the ring as well and said that the United Kingdom “would not allow” Nigeria to break up.

Such ill-conceived pomposity, self-serving clap trap and what the great writer and historian David Icke describes as the “arrogance of ignorance” has no place in the post-colonial world.

Simply put Arkwright, and all other “Englanders” that think like him, ought to remind himself that Nigeria is no longer a British colony.

In any case given the consequences of Brexit and the strong agitation for Scottish, Welsh and even Northern Irish independence it appears to me that the British Ambassador would do better by trying to ensure that the United Kingdom itself remains together rather than attempt to tell us what we “will be” or “not be” allowed to do in Nigeria.

He would also do well to remember that the days of “Rule Brittania” are long over, that the “Great” has been taken out of “Britain” and that the evil amalgamation and unworkable contraption that his forefathers forced on us in 1914 is fast unravelling as a consequence of the hideous atrocities, sheer cruelty and sociopathic megalomania of those that they imposed on us as our internal colonial masters.

The bottom line is that the destiny of this nation will be determined by the people of Nigeria and no-one else.

Whether the Ambassador of France, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom or anyone else likes it or not the world is fast changing.

The philosophy, ethos and culture of ethnic nationalism is gaining ground and pride of place. Nothing terrifies the hegemonists, the internal colonial masters and the ‘born to rule’ conquerors in Nigeria more than this because Yoruba, Igbo and Ijaw nationalism coupled with the quest for southern and Middle Belt emancipation is their worse nightmare.

The glorious march of ethnic nationalism, the desire to break the yoke of internal colonialism, slavery and bondage, the agitation for self-determination and the quest for a fundamental restructuring of Nigeria or, failing that, the establishment of new and independent nation states to replace her is at an all-time high.

And so is the determination of the various ethnic groups and nationalities to resist oppression, subjugation and tyranny and defend and protect the interests of their people.

If anyone doubts that they should speak with the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), the Oodua Liberation Movement (OLM), the Oodua Nationalist Coalition(ONAC), the Movement For The Actualisation Of The Sovereign State Of Biafa (MASSOB), the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC), the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), the Middle Belt Youth Forum (MBYF), the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), the Ombatse Militia Group (OMG), the Tiv Cultural and Development Association (TCDA), the Berom Militias, the Tiv Militias, the Zaar militias, the Jukun militias, the Ngas Militias, the Nigerian Christian Falange (NCF), the Sons of Gideon (SG) and numerous other groups that are not only well-motivated, well- organised and well-equipped but also highly focused and committed to their cause and ready to defend the interests of their people no matter the price that may have to be paid.

I sincerely hope and pray that it never happens because I deplore violence and I am a man if peace but if push ever comes to shove and there is a showdown, the Nigerian Armed Forces and security agencies, the Fulani militias and herdsmen and Boko Haram will have a very hard time containing the fury and power of any or all of these groups.

I say this because it is not the size of the dog in the fight that counts but rather the size of the fight in the dog!

Court Case Update: Judge And Nigeria Government Frustrated By Resilience Of Defense Counsels To Kanu And Co-defendants

Court Case Update: Judge And Nigeria Government Frustrated By Resilience Of Defense Counsels To Kanu And Co-defendants

The prosecuting counsel representing the Nigeria government, Hon. Barrister S.I Labaran, as well as the judge in charge of the proceedings, Mrs Binta Nyako have expressed discomfort over the continuous applications being filed by the Defense Counsels to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and co-defendants, seeking for the court to grant their clients bail and to reject a secret trial for the defendants.

Following the  introduction of the Counsels,  Hon. Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Counsel to the first defendant-Nnamdi Kanu, requested the court to review its order made on December 13, 2016 against the bail of the defendant and in favour of a secret trial.

"My Lord, we filed an application on the 22/3/2017. In support of this application, is a Nine Paragraph affidavit, by Uchechukwu Moborogwu.
A written address dated 16/3/2017, was also filed,

"We plea that, this honourable court should review the order made on the 13th day of December 2016," Barrister Ejiofor told the court.

However the Counsel of prosecution, S.I Labaran objected the application saying:

"My Lord, having gone through the application filed, we found out that, it has no difference with the previous one filed,

"We hereby plead that, the court should accept the countered affidavit before the court,
"We also demand that, my Lord should dismiss the application, because it does not just lack merit, but is frivolous in nature and a ploy to delay this matter. We hereby adopt the oral written address and affidavit," he stated.

The counsel to the Third defendant(Barrister Essene) adopted the argument of the first defense counsel, for the third defendant, and  which the prosecuting counsel also objected.

The judge intercepted in favour of the Counsel of Prosecution, and warned the defense counsels against frustrating the trial of the accused:

"This filing of new applications by the defending counsels is delaying this case. I might get angry and adjourn this case, if this continues like this," the judge stated.
