MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND HIS AGENTS CAUGHT AGAIN LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH

As Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his agents are running out of ideas on how to tag the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist organization in order to justify before the international community the laughable secret trial of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, they have once again been caught “pants down“ in one of their lying schemes. On this occasion, Buhari has paid media organizations to concoct a story on the arrest of a Biafran from the Igbo-speaking area who is planning to bomb a bridge in Lagos. Unfortunately, Buhari’s media client did a very poor job of his assignment, thereby leaving a gaping hole in the entire story that could make Buhari call for the return of the money he paid to the media organization.
On the 29th of December 2016, Ismail Akwei, a Ghanaian journalist, reporting for Agence France-Presse (AFP), titled his news as follows: “NIGERIAN POLICE SAY THEY HAVE FOILED A BIAFRAN SEPARATIST ATTACK.“ On the main news itself, Ismail Akwei stated that “Nigerian police said on Wednesday [December 28, 2016] that it had foiled a bomb attack on one of the main bridges in the economic capital, Lagos, planted by a separatist group. After a long and difficult surveillance, the main suspect, Abiodun Amos, alias Senti, leader of the group trying to bomb the Mainland Bridge in Lagos, was arrested on November 2, 2016 with two AK-47 assault rifles,”
Continuing, Ismail Akwei also reported that “The main suspect is an Igbo, a native of the Ese Odo region of Ondo State. He is an expert in explosives, a specialist in the manufacture of large scale explosive devices for terrorist purposes.” He concluded his story by asserting that “The leader of the Igbo separatist group provided information leading to the confiscation of two cartons of explosives and 125 detonators in the trunk of a car ready to be driven towards the bridge.”
In the first place, it is horrifying that a respected media organization such as AFP (founded in 1944) will hire and retain the services of incompetent and unethical brown-envelope journalist like Ismail Akwei. It is also shocking that this story was not cross-checked by the Editorial Board of AFP before going public. Given the caliber of seasoned administrators at AFP such as Emmanuel Hoog and Michele Leridon, we expect them to hold their employees accountable for ensuring due diligence and exactitude in their reportage.
It is laughable that an Igbo “separatist group leader“ trying to bomb the bridge goes by the name ABIODUN AMOS. Also, this same Igbo “main suspect“ is a native of Ese Odo region of Ondo State. So, Igbos are now natives of Ondo state and, by inference, Ondo State is now a part of Biafra? I believe anyone reading this press statement is beginning to understand the schemes and lies of Buhari which he is using Ismail Akwei of AFP to perpetuate.
We continue to warn the world that Buhari and his Nigerian government is a bundle of congenital liars. Instead of finding a panacea to the deteriorating economic conditions of the British criminality and creation called Nigeria, Buhari is spending stupendous amount of resources cooking up new lies against IPOB and their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. For how long will he continue, unsuccessfully, to deceive the world? Is it not about time Buhari and his lying crew swallowed their pride and called for a Referendum and settle this matter once and for all? Why waste tax payers‘ money and other public resources in trying to chase a wild goose?
The IPOB strongly urge everyone to disregard this latest lie from the pit of hell which was unfortunately delivered through AFP. Muhammadu Buhari is desperate because he is running out of time, having realized that the restoration of the nation of Biafra is an unstoppable and irreversible process. We advice discerning persons to consign the AFP report to the dustbin which is its rightful place. IPOB is a peaceful, non-violent organization with a singular objective of the peaceful restoration of the nation of Biafra.

 The Nigerian Department of State Services has reportedly abducted a Family Writers correspondent, Moses Agbo, who is yet to be seen by his relatives since embarking on an assignment on December 25, 2016, according to informations gathered by Family Writers.

 This latest sad development has come as a big shock not only to the entire crew of Family Writers and the entire Biafra media house; but also to the mother of the fearless journalist/activist who is yet to recover from the trauma of her husband's demise. The whereabouts and safety of Moses Agbo has remained unknown ever since his visit to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra on December 25, 2016.
 
Family Writers had since launched an intensive investigation in alliance with the Coordinator of Abuja IPOB to determine the cause of his sudden disappearance, however, a reliable source which pleaded anonymity has disclosed that Moses was abducted by the DSS with the help of some prison warders, as he heads out from Kuje prison after his meeting with the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

 The source also disclosed that there is a secret order by the federal government for a massive clamp down on our journalists whose fearless reportage has been a thorn on the flesh of corrupt and evil politicians who are piloting the affairs of the country.

 Meanwhile, uptill this moment, no Nigerian security apparatus, including the DSS has issued any notice or accepted having the Family Writers' Journalist in their custody.

 The entire crew of Family Writers in conjunction with millions of Biafrans and all lovers of democracy and freedom are using this medium to call the Nigerian government to order over this recent outburst of tyranny, and clamp down on media outlets and journalists in the country.

 We call for the immediate, unconditional and safe release of Moses Agbo, and a stop to the continuous intimidation and harassment of our journalists in Nigeria.

Youths from every region in BiafraLand were not left out in this call for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's release. They chanted Biafra Freedom Songs and it was resounded that the World may know that a harm on Nnamdi Kanu is a harm to humanity. They also demanded that, the three other defendants must be released, alongside IPOB Leader. The IPOB Leader was appreciated passionately for defending the Biafra quest even on detention and for not succumbing to a compromise despite the pressure and offers by the Nigeria Government.

An Eze in Igweocha has stated that, nobody can stop them from getting Biafra restored. He stretched his speech by warning the Nigeria Government, never to harm his Son Nnamdi Kanu for only exercising his right to self determination. He declared the support of the Igweocha people and wooed any Rivers man who has not yet keyed into the struggle.
 Other Traditional rulers in an interview with Ibeh Gift Amarachi Of Family Writers thunderously roared that, the Nigeria Government cannot put a stop to the Biafra quest because it is spiritually anchored.

 They went further to state that, If Buhari does not release their Leader,Nigeria will not know peace and the Zoo called Nigeria must fall.
Speaking with Mr Okon from AkwaIbom State,he told Family Writers that, "The days of divide and rule is over. And that the people of Ibibio and Efik have traced their origin which was exposed by their son Nnamdi Kanu and nothing can break their bonds with Igbo speaking Biafrans".

 The programme ended with the traditional rulers, joining together and placing their hands on the floor to carry out a Biafran Traditional Prayer "IgOfor" to bless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and lay curses upon Nigeria for impoverishment, mayhem, deaths, captivity and the unlawful detention of their children. WE SALUTE BRAVE BIAFRANS FOR CHASING AWAY MUHAMMADU BUHARI FROM BIAFRALAND

The leadership of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) salute brave Biafrans who despite all odds chased away Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari from Enugu-Biafraland. We would like to remind all humanity that Muhammadu Buhari committed treason on December 31, 1983, when he overthrew the democratically elected government of President Alhaji Aliyu Usman Shehu Shagari.  In addition to his involvement in the assassination of Major General J. T. U. Aguiyi-Ironsi and the mass-murder of over two million Biafrans at Owerri in 1968, Buhari has continually ordered the killing of Biafrans since he was awarded the presidency of Nigeria in 2015.

It was against this backdrop that Biafrans determined that Buhari is not welcome in Biafraland. Biafrans from all walks of life converged at Enugu to lay down their lives had Buhari come to Enugu with his gun-totting murderous security operatives. Understandably, Buhari heeded our warning and stayed back in Abuja. We salute the courage and determination of Biafrans despite threats, a few days earlier, from Buhari’s killer-squads and some internal enemies from Biafraland. The event of December 22nd, 2016 has once more demonstrated the fact that Biafrans are under one central command of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB. It has also shown that Biafrans are disciplined and non-violent in their approach to self-determination because no single incident was recorded.

As Biafrans were not attacked at the event by the murderous Nigerian security operatives, the entire world can see that there were peace and tranquility at Enugu and elsewhere in Biafraland. The question now becomes, why did Buhari order the Nigerian Army to attack and murder defenceless and law-abiding Biafrans at Aba, Nkpor, Igweocha (PortHarcourt) and Onitsha? Why would Buhari always resort to brute force in responding to people exercising their fundamental human rights? Is it because of his lack of formal secondary and tertiary education and non-existent leadership training?

The entire world must know that Muhammadu Buhari stayed away from Biafraland for fear of incurring the wrath of angry Biafrans who were ready to die with him if he had dared to step his feet in Biafraland. Any other concocted story on why Buhari cowardly stayed away is a figment of the imagination of those telling such stories. Already we are aware of certain politicians from Biafraland who stole their state blind and are supposed to be cooling their heels in EFCC gulag but are temporarily left off the hook because of the spoiler role and anti-Biafra propagandist activities they volunteered to undertake. These politicians are now advancing reasons why Buhari cowardly stayed away from Biafraland, but we know they are lying.

Given the bare-faced lies from these politicians, we wish to warn that misrepresentation of facts and outright lies is something IPOB is not comfortable with. Any politician or persons wishing to be regarded as serious intermediary in the quest to emancipate our people must be truthful at all times. Any attempt to spin information or play to the gallery will be met with instant repudiation and termination of that person's involvement in the affairs of IPOB. Our leader is an uncompromising straight forward Biafran first and foremost. Any attempt to misrepresent his views or that of IPOB will be resisted. IPOB has created the enabling environment for politicians of different persuasions willing to repent from their old criminal past all across Biafraland to work together to salvage what is left of their tattered reputation.

Muhammadu Buhari must understand that the quest for the restoration of the nation of Biafra is unquenchable, unstoppable, and irreversible. We advise Buhari to toe the path of peace to engender a conducive environment that will restore the confidence of investors who are leaving Nigeria in droves on a daily basis since he became the ruler of the country. To achieve this, we demand as follows:

1) Buhari must release the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, along with other Biafran detainees. Other political detainees including Ibrahim Yaqoub El Zakzaky and Sambo Dasuki must also be released.
 
2) Buhari must announce a date for Biafrexit Referendum, and

3) Buhari  must convene a public enquiry into the massacre of IPOB family members as documented by Amnesty International.

Without the above palliatives, restoring normalcy to Nigeria remains a pipe dream. We are bold to state that Nigeria is heading irreversibly in the direction of dismemberment which will be to the benefit of the three distinct nations of Arewa, Oduduwa, and Biafra that make up the country called Nigeria. It is an undeniable fact that when the history of restructuring or disintegration is written about Nigeria, only three names will stand out namely; Radio Biafra, IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu.

Once more, we salute the uncommon courage exhibited by IPOB in chasing Muhammadu Buhari away from Biafraland. IPOB is stating emphatically that should BUHARI decide to come to Biafraland anytime in the future, we shall be waiting to die with him.

1. The mortar and pestle test: When molding a few grains of rice with a mortar and pestle, if the powder gives a quite white colour, you are good to go but it has a yellow discoloration, your rice must be fake.

 

2. The fire test: You know what plastic smells like right. So, get a lighter and burn a handful of rice. If it catches fire and smells like burnt plastic, you have fake rice.

 

 

 

3. The water test: Get a glass of cold water. Pour a tablespoon of raw rice in the glass and stir. If the rice goes to the bottom, it is all good. If it floats at the top, be careful because it means it contains ‘plastic rice’. Do not eat.

 

 

4. The mold test: Boil the rice. Leave it in a warm place for like 2-3 days. If mold does not appear in a few days, your rice is fake and should not be consumed. It will not get mold because plastic is not affected by the weather or temperature.

 

5. The boiling test: Observe the rice while boiling. If it starts forming a thick layer at the top of the pot, it is ‘plastic rice’.

 

 

 

6. The hot oil test: Just take some of the rice drop into some real hot oil. If it is plastic, it will melt or stick together or stick at the bottom of the pan. Share these tips with your friends and family so they do not end up eating ‘plastic rice’.

ENUGU— Hundreds of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, today stormed the busy streets of Enugu metropolis in order to register their anger and displeasure over the proposed visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Enugu.

 The protesters who moved from the ever busy streets of Ogbete Main Market crisscrossed through the Central Police Divisional Headquarters and headed to the Coal Camp section of Enugu singing, and shouting.

They vehemently opposed the use of masked witnesses in the ongoing trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court, Abuja, saying that Buhari must obey Biafra and release their leader.

 The atmosphere has been calm and peaceful, with little or no traffic jam but vehicular movements are being controlled to restore normalcy as people went about their normal businesses.

 However, according to our sources, it has become certain that President Buhari will no longer visit Enugu as speculations are ripe that he might have cancelled his planned visit.

  A mega protest has just been ignited by the Indigenous People of Biafra in Enugu, Biafra land, as Biafrans pour out their rage over a planned visit of Nigeria president, Muhammadu Buhari.

   The animosity between Biafrans and president Buhari has increased tremendously ever since his inception into office, resulting from the arrest and incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu since October 14, 2015; fuelled by excessive clamp down on Biafra activists by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

 In November, Amnesty International reported that since August 2015, more than 150 Biafra activists have been extrajudicially killed by Nigeria security agencies while thousands of others have been subjected to enforced disappearance and continuous incarceration.
 
Notwithstanding, Biafrans believes that the toll is much higher, with claims that not less than 2000 Biafrans have been murdered with gross impunity at the order of President Buhari.

 The Nigerian government led by Muhammadu Buhari has refused to investigate and prosecute those involved in mowing down Biafra activists, thereby justifying the insinuations that the human rights abuses are incited by the government.
  
 Biafrans had earlier issued a stern warning to Buhari not to step his foot into Biafra land or risk being disgraced.
 According to reactions, Biafrans believes it is a sacrilege for the Nigerian president to walk on  the blood of Biafrans which his trigger-happy security henchmen spilled across the streets of Biafra land.

As a result, a mega protest is currently ongoing in Enugu where Buhari is expected to arrive today to declare open a 'security and economic summit'.

Sultan’s Comments Shows Hatred, Hypocrisy Against Biafrans – MASSOB

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), yesterday, blasted the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, for his what it perceived as uncomplimentary remarks against Ndigbo in Enugu State.

In a statement in Abakaliki, the leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, described the Islamic leader’s comments as a reflection of Hausa-Fulani’s hatred, hypocrisy and wicked minds against the people of Biafra in the country. The statement read in part: “The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra blasts Sultan of Sokoto for his unguarded and insensitive address at Nsukka yesterday when he visited.

 

This expressed feelings and assertion of the Islamic leader shows and proves the high level of hatred, hypocrisy and wicked mind of Hausa-Fulani Islamic fundamentalists in Nigeria against the people of Biafra.

“For the Islamic religious leader in Nigeria to openly admit that Ndigbo are always killed and massacred without provocation in Nigeria because of our industriousness and unique ability to reside in every nooks and crannies of Nigeria doing businesses is terrible.

“The Sultan also defended the Fulani herdsmen, who are foot soldiers of Buhari-led administration in forceful implementation of Islamic agenda of the entire Nigeria claiming that the violent Fulani herdsmen are criminals.

 The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has said that the Nigerian Army would be raising up cattle ranches in almost all the divisions and brigades. Mr. Buratai, who was represented by the Chief of Army Logistics, Patrick Akem, said this on Tuesday at the Commissioning of Mogadishu Cantonment New Mammy Market (former Abacha Barracks), Abuja.

 The Army Chief said in keeping up with modern cattle rearing tradition, he sent officers to Argentina to look at how cattle were reared.
“Argentina has a population of 41 million people, but it feeds about 400 million people around the world with its beef.

“To take it to the next level, we want to adopt a system where the cattle are not just free ranging coming from Sokoto to Port Harcourt, thereby making their meat tough to eat, the products will soon be coming from our own farms and ranches,” he said.

 He said he created the Barrack Investment Initiative as a platform that affords Army family members the opportunity of raising up fishing ponds, vegetable gardens, fruits, livestock, chicken and their eggs.

 According to him, the intention of the Nigerian Army was not just to secure the country, but to contribute in growing the economy of the nation.
 He added: “We want to tell our wives that they can live beyond the salaries of their husbands, so we are trying to empower the women in the barracks to be able to form co-operatives, so as to access loans and to a large extent be able to fend for themselves and their families, even without the salaries of their husbands.

 Meanwhile, the Commander Army Headquarters Garrison, John Malu, said the shopping edifice had over 2000 shops, 27 warehouses and a printing press owned by the Nigerian Navy.
 He added that the services of a reputable private security firm was contracted to handle the security of the market.

 Traders in Ariaria International Market, Aba has rejected the announcement by the Abia State government, that there will be a public holiday today, following the ongoing local government council election in the state.

 The traders lamented that they have lost hope in Nigeria's government, citing that all they want is Biafra nation.

 Abacityblog recall that the State government had yesterday announced that there will be no movement in the state, including markets and banks to be shut. But the traders in Ariaria market rejected the announcement.

 When Abacityblog correspondent visits the market he found out that the market is busy, people are buying and selling.

 Asked one of the traders, Mr. Onyejiuwa Ogbonnaya, reason why the market is not observing the today's public holiday in the state, he said; (Abia State) can go ahead with their election, but as for the traders in Ariaria market, we have lost hope in Nigeria, we are Biafrans.

 According to him; "I have said it several times, I am not a Nigerian, I am a Biafran, so if Abia State or Nigeria is doing election or not, it is not my concern, because for a long time I have lost hope in Nigeria.

 "My fellow traders in Ariaria have also lost hope in Nigeria, that is why we preferred to be called Biafrans, not Nigerians.

 Mr. Ogbonnaya who reside at A-Line lamented that the federal government should "release (our) Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and give us Biafra"

 Biafra is our last hope, as in Nigeria, we have lost hope, he added.

 Another trader, who simply described himself as Kingsley opined that the federal government should conduct a referendum for Biafra, let those who want Biafra, should go, and those who want to stay with Nigeria, should stay.

 Speaking further, he thanked the former Abia State governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu who is the first Igbo leader that visited Nnmadi Kanu in Kuje prison.

It is now glaring to the world that somebody is taking the said country (Nigeria) to be some sort of cattle ranch where he is solely obliged to decide what happens and what does not. If President Mohamadu Buhari is in his sane mind he would not reply Martine Dennis of Aljazeera that Biafrans should not joke with the Nigerian security when he was asked to watch video of his military thugs(Nigerian soldiers)shooting unarmed Biafrans on February 9th 2016.If he is sane he would know that not showing concern about the killing of unarmed  people could land him in jail because as a President he is ultimately responsible for the actions of security forces in his country. If Buhari is not mad he cannot be talking about coming to Enugu Biafra land for whatever purpose after killing our brothers, sisters ,mothers and fathers.If he is not mad he is supposed to know that the gentle movement of the lion does not make it harmless.He is supposed to know that we are not fools and we don't wish to see him anywhere near Biafra land.Few week ago be mounted pressure on Telecommunication Networks in Nigeria to increase data tariff by 300% because he doesn't want us to keeping exposing his ill attitudes on Biafrans to the world.  The meeting holds today in Enugu. Confirming the planned boycott, Chairman of the Caucus, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe said that the South East Senators will stay away from the Town Hall meeting, citing lack of adequate consultation as reason.

“South east has been utterly neglected and marginalized over time especially with regards to addressing factors that stimulates development including the place of Ndigbo in the present administration. “So if we are to hold a town hall meeting the agenda must be restricted to purely development of the region. The agenda must be articulated to address the issues as highlighted. This has not been done That is where the issue of lack of adequate consultation comes in.” Abaribe further advised that whatever should be done must be in the overall interest of the South East region.

 A civil Rights body- HUMAN RIGHTS WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (HURIWA) has described as a monumental injustice the decision by President Muhammadu Buhari through his Justice minister Abubakar Malami to parade masked witnesses against Mr Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Europe registered Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of United Kingdom based Radio Biafra.

The Rights group has also criticised Justice Binta Murtallah Nyako for bragging that the Federal High Court room is hers and therefore she can do whatever or issue whatever order she deems appropriate just as the group said the presiding judge can’t go outside the provisions of the Constitution in reaching a determination  of any prayer at any given stage of the subsisting matter because doing otherwise would be illegal and absolutely non-permissible by law.

HURIWA reminded the judge, Mrs Binta Murtallah-Nyako the fourth wife of the embattled former Adamawa  state governor Murtallah Nyako facing criminal charges over fraud,  that the global community is watching her proceedings even as generations yet unborn will judge her conducts and decisions which would have far reaching implications in whatever legacies she intends to build.

Besides, HURIWA stressed that it is  an unmitigated crime against natural law  for the Federal High Court to have disregarded the constitutionally guaranteed human rights of the defendants to fair hearing and open trial just in a choreographed attempt to railroad the accused into prison to satisfy the wishes, whims and capricious intentions of President Muhammadu Buhari who has on many occasions in the media passed a verdict against Mr Nnamdi Kanu and his organisation as having committed ‘serious crime’ against his government.

The Rights group further stated that the ruling by the Federal High Court to shield the identities of witnesses who would testify against Mr Daniel Kanu is reminiscent of kangaroo trial process used during the brutal dictatorships that held Nigerians in bondage for over four decades prior to 1999 when overwhelming global pressures forced the coup plotters to vacate political offices,  restored political and democratic  order and proceeded to return to their military barracks.

“We totally condemn Justice Binta Murtallah Nyako for granting this awkward and unconstitutional prayers of President Muhammadu Buhari which will in the long run deny the defendants and the rest of the citizenry the right to witness an open, transparent, accountable and clean judicial process since the matter involving the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) versus Muhammadu Buhari ruling elite has since become a national phenomenon in which every citizen of Nigeria is keen to know how the entire scenarios are resolved. The plot to present masked witnesses is both anachronistic and antithetical to moral, and ethical justice. This can only happen in banana republics or failed political entities whereby military might is right”.

 

“We in the human rights community believe that the claim by the  leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, of a plot by the Federal Government to invite foreign personnel to testify against him in court is extensively damaging and from the trajectories of events since the legal ordeals of Mr Nnamdi Kanu started it is not farfetched to notice that indeed the Presidency which has been on an overdrive to jail the IPOB officials by hook or crook may have actually perfected plans to import ghost witnesses to rope the accused into a phantom crime of treasonable felony. This illegality which has made the current administration a laughing stock in the international community of civilised people must be challenged and overturned on appeal.”

 The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have received information that Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari who committed treason on December 31, 1983, and was rewarded with Nigeria’s presidency after 32 years, will be visiting Enugu-Biafraland on the 22nd of December, 2016. We assert that inviting a killer and persecutor of Biafrans to our land is an insult to the memory of those killed by Muhammadu Buhari. Therefore, we object totally to this visit by the killer of Biafrans. We recall that Buhari started his killing of Biafrans with the assassination of Major General J. T. U. Aguiyi-Ironsi on July 29, 1966. He followed up with the mass-murder of over two million Biafrans in 1968 at Owerri during the war of genocide on Biafra by Nigeria and Britain. From June 17, 2015, till date, Buhari has killed over two thousand unarmed and peaceful Biafrans.

 We warn any governor or Igbo politician that receives Buhari in Enugu will have himself or herself to blame. We make it public that should there be a breakdown of law and order in Enugu on the 22nd of December, greedy Igbo politicians will have themselves to blame. Any Igbo governor or politician that is found among those hobnobbing with Buhari the killer of Biafrans becomes an enemy of the people and shall pay dearly for it.

 Until all those detained are released, and Amnesty International report investigated, Buhari is not allowed into any part of Biafraland. Let Buhari know that if he (Buhari) comes to Enugu or any part of Biafraland, we will die with him there.

 We are calling on all Biafrans to descend on Enugu on the said date of 22 December 2016 to show our anger and displeasure at this attempt by some greedy Igbo men to insult the memory of our glorious dead and those still in detention with our leader.

 Should Buhari attempt to set foot on Enugu soil everybody involved, from Bart Nnaji to Governor Ugwuanyi will regret it. These criminal Igbo politicians without any iota of shame must know that Buhari is the Grand Patron of the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen that have been rampaging and killing our people in Enugu and other parts of Biafraland in the name of Islam. Buhari is the person behind the rise of the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen and must be made to know that we Biafrans are not in support of sponsors of terrorism. We are the children of the Most High God and do not associate with mass murderers like Buhari. Therefore we don't want him anywhere around our sacred land.

 Any Governor or Igbo politician who is stupid enough to invite Buhari into our capital will be taught a lesson that will reverberate in history. They should try us and see.

 Few days ago, the traders of Ekeoha Shopping Centre and Ariaria International Market Aba recovered their goods back from the hands of the Nigerian Customs who intercepted it along Rivers State Rail way station. The goods were kept for two weeks and three days before releasing it to their owners having paid a huge amount of money as bribe. These goods were procured at Kano Market Katin Kwari to be precise.

 The Nigerian Customs are meant to mann the borders to prevent country banned goods from entering the country; also to make sure that the custom duty of goods is fully paid by the importers before crossing the borders. But from the above illustration, it seems to me in Nigeria, the reverse is the case as they leave the borders where they were meant to discharge their duties, to even the rural areas to disturb the poor masses who buy goods from their importers. Note that the high ranking officers in the Nigerian Custom Service are dominated by the Hausa/Fulanis. They ignore the importers of textile materials because they are their fellow brothers and come down to Biafra land to seize the goods of innocent Biafrans who go all the way to Kano and purchase goods. Once the goods leaves the north to the south east it will automatically becomes contraband goods just because it's in Biafra land. What a heartless intimidation by people who claim they are one in the same country with Biafrans! It’s quite disheartening to see such level of hatred melted on Biafrans by the Hausa/Fulani been that they have been stationed in every area of the Nigeria government to keep frustrating Biafrans in Nigeria.

The issue here is that after Biafrans pay hefty amount of money to clear goods through some channels, this Custom officers would still send other officers to intercept the very goods already thereby defrauding the owner again and leaving them in a state of confusion, by making their business stagnant for another number of weeks. There is no way someone can defend this expired contraption called Nigeria without be lashed. We are not one and can never be one. The hatred, the north has for Biafrans cannot be over-emphasized. It is not hidden. They show it without any kind of remorse in all ramifications. Its this same hatred that leads to the killing of Biafrans at any slightest provocation mostly in the northern region of Nigeria and right now, they have invaded Biafra land by using the Herdsmen to murder Biafrans. The level of impunity Biafran business men and women go through in the hands of the custom staff is heartbreaking. They pass through hell trying to transact businesses in Nigeria.  The Nigerian Customs have ended the dreams of many Biafran business men and women by intentionally seizing and destroying goods worth millions of dollars.  These Hausa-Fulanis customer officers extort many wealthy Biafrans to the extent that most of them do not know where and how to begin again.

 The restoration of Biafra will put an end to all these mess and oppressive attitude towards Biafrans. Our men and women will feel free to transact businesses without any molestation of any kind. Biafra will bring peace and stability to all in our land.

 Forensically, Nigeria has turned to a cattle Republic championed by Mohammadu Buhari, a commander in Chief of Armed Terrorists and chief injustice of the federation. It has been proven judges in Nigeria are not meant to be just and independent in interpreting law rather under a script to subvert justice in favor of their paymaster that appointed them. Judiciary ought to have been an independent arm of government with primary responsibility to uphold law without minding who is involved; is now influenced by sole emperor of giant of fraud and killer of unarmed innocent Biafrans.

 Wristband does not need a mirror to be seen. The appointed bias Judge Binta Nyako’s first impression drew a lot of suspicious motive to thwart the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu and other defendants that are charged for treasonable felony without evidence to back up their empty claim. The presiding Judge fixed the same date with ECOWAS in her first appearance to frustrate Nnamdi Kanu’s counsels though, it was handled as if it was not a burden. It is certain she is under strict order to jail Kanu. The former Judge John Tsoho was unable to accomplish his biasness due to the effort of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB who relentlessly monitored his footsteps diligently until he was forced to resign.

 Politics in Nigeria judiciary system has made all lost confidence in law court. Court, the last hope of common man is now a last hope for political criminals that subject the rule of law to all manner of inhuman treatment to maintain their political positions. Binta Nyako boasted as the presiding Judge ” this court belongs to me, I can do whatever I want without objection”. She is using this high profile case as the only option presented to her by Buhari to save her husband Murtala Nyako; former governor of Adamawa State, on corrupt charges hanging on his neck during his tenure.

 The World is watching how Binta Nyako, the woman after Buhari’s heart to execute his paymaster media chat assertion that Nnamdi Kanu cannot be granted bail by any judge in Nigeria. What will Binta Nyako’s followers learn from her; that self determination as inalienable right enshrined in UN and AU, which Nigeria is signatory to was a crime? Why won’t Buhari’s armed terrorist group Boko Haram trial be held in secret?

 Recall, till date Buhari’s school certificate saga remains a mirage; both the judge and prosecuting counsel’s life were threatened. In Buhari's weird assertion, women perceived by him as weaker vessels; and he is now taking advantage of that believe to accomplish his evil acts as he did to Aisha Buhari at her tender age. He view Justice Binta Nyako as weak and therefore can be pressured and manupulated to uphold Buhari's demand to shield hired witnesses to testify against Nnamdi Kanu.

 Invariably, it is far better Binta Nyako removes the gum in her eyes by trying her criminal minded son and husband secretly before she hallucinate in doing so to Citizen Nnamdi Kanu.

 When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty. Her travesty in judgement shall trap her in disgrace with evidence when the time comes. It is advised she go and ask Justice John Tsoho of what becomes of him. A word is enough for the wise

Without any shred of doubt, Hon. Justice Binta Fatimat Murtala-Nyako (57 years old) is a monumental disgrace to the Judiciary and the greatest purveyor of injustice ever known to man. The world must be put on notice that this female Judge lacks basic understanding of her job as well as the capability to differentiate between a private citizen and a public servant at the level of the President of a country. In  her gaffe on the 1st of December 2016 which was the day she denied bail for Nnamdi Kanu, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako averred that Muhammadu Buhari’s prejudicial statement on Nnamdi Kanu’s case during his Presidential media chat of December 30, 2015, was a mere comment from a private citizen which he (Buhari) is entitled to as part of his fundamental human right. We are not surprised that on the night of the same day of her gaffe, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako had a dinner at the Presidential Villa with Muhammadu Buhari.

It is on record that Muhammadu Buhari has written four letters to Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako concerning Nnamdi Kanu. In one of the recent letters, Buhari reminded Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako that her eldest son was implicated in a fraud involving her husband. The letter which was personally signed by Buhari stated that probe would commence into the activities of her son unless she jails Nnamdi Kanu before Mr. Donald Trump's inauguration on the 20th of January 2017. Therefore it does not come to us as a surprise that on December 13, 2016, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako was blackmailed into delivering the ruling for the secret trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

For those who do not know, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is one of the four wives of Mr. Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako, a retired Naval officer and an impeached governor of Adamawa state who is currently being prosecuted along with his son (Abdul-aziz Nyako) for stealing over twenty-nine billion naira. 
 
Further research has revealed that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is the wife of a terrorist in the person of Mr. Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako. On the 30th of May, 2014, Pointblanknews reported as follows: “no fewer than five hundred Fulani mercenaries trained in Sudan were imported into the state and are camped at the border village of Typsen in Toungo Local Government Area of Adamawa State on the instruction of the state governor. The Fulani men are kept at the expense of the state government, fed, well taken care of and paid a stipend of about N50,000.00 each monthly by the state government with the tax payers’ money (Pointblanknews May 30th, 2014).“

It will also be recalled that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is being fingered on the mysterious death of Justice Evoh Chukwu of Federal High Court Abuja who was initially presiding over the case of fraud and stealing against her husband and her son. For the records, Mr. Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako had in October 2012 sent the name of his wife, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako of the Federal High Court, to the National Judicial Commission (NJC) as his nominee for state Chief Judge but the request was thrown out by the NJC. With all these affronts on ethics and the Constitution, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako has the temerity to continue to serve as a Judge in a Nigerian Court.

We recall that on the 15th of July 1996, as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Katsina state, Mrs. Binta Fatimat Murtala-Nyako categorically stated that “as the chief law officer of the state, my decision must be informed by the supreme law of the country which is the Constitution.“ Can this same Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako point us to the section of the Constitution that supports secret trial for the offences in which Nnamdi Kanu and others are being tried? Why is Binta Murtala-Nyako operating outside the Constitution of Nigeria which she swore to uphold as a Judge? By approving secret trial, is Binta Murtala-Nyako invalidating section-36 (especially sub-section 3 & 4) of Nigerian Constitution? Is Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako aware that section-1(3) of the Constitution is inviolable and supersedes any and all parts of ACJA-2015 that conflict with the said section-1(3) of the Constitution?

It smacks of hypocrisy that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako’s husband who is a known terrorist and big thief was granted bail but she refused to grant bail to non-violent persons such as Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafrans. These Biafrans were neither accused of stealing any money nor were they accused of funding Boko Haram terrorists like Mr. Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako has done. Again, this is the same Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako who, on the 7th of June 2016, granted bail to a former Chief of Air Staff, Mohammed Umar, who was being tried on a seven-count charge of laundering 4.8 billion naira, while he was Chief of Air Staff.

We are moved to ask Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako, why try Nnamdi Kanu in secret when the accusation against him was made in the open? Where and when in the history of Nigerian court system have civilians been tried in secret on civil/criminal matters? Is Binta Murtala-Nyako mistaking Nigeria’s Common Law with Sharia Law which she is very comfortable with?

We understand that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is trading-off justice for the freedom of her terrorist husband and thieving son. We also know that Buhari targets weak and corrupt Judges like John Tsoho and now Binta Murtala-Nyako who’s  son and terrorist husband appear to be caught up in something illegal to warrant Buhari to use the illegal and unconstitutional organization called Department of State Services (DSS) to be blackmailing her.

From her conduct in the ongoing case, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) can infer that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is a disgrace to the Judiciary and the course of justice and we no longer have confidence in her impartial adjudication on the matter concerning Nnamdi Kanu and the other Biafrans. She should honourably resign because she cannot be a Judge and the wife of a terrorist at the same time. Also, she should confess her culpability in the death of Justice Evoh Chukwu who’s life she terminated in order to save her terrorist husband and thieving son. We fervently pray that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako does not also terminate the life of the 19-year old Aisha B. Dauda of Unguwan Rimi—Kaduna whom she sees as snatching away her terrorist husband, Mr. Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako.
 
Finally, IPOB maintains that it behooves the Judiciary of Nigeria to demonstrate that they understand basic English language even if they don't know what Law means. The Constitution is the supreme document that supersedes any Law that is in conflict with it. An abuse of the so-called “discretionary powers of Judges“ in resolving minor legal wrangling is now being deployed by corrupt Judges in Nigeria to justify their illegal judgments. The next Judge that will handle this case must prove that he or she has a basic grasp of English language and willing to interpret the Law the way it is written. No system on this earth, no matter how primitive, can circumvent the Constitution in order to please a dictator because the Constitution is sacrosanct.

Muhammadu Buhari and his sister Binta Murtala-Nyako who doubles as the wife of a terrorist must be notified that there shall be no secret trial because the Constitution does not have provision for secrecy in criminal trials.

A Shabbat service is underway at the Ghihon Hebrew Research synagogue in the Jikwoyi suburb of Nigeria's federal capital territory.

Fourteen year-old Kadmiel Izungu Abor heads there with his family. They walk alongside stray goats on a road covered in red dust and potholes, lined with open sewage. They are nearly 20 kilometers away from the modern multi-story office buildings and sprawling mansions in Nigeria's capital city of Abuja.

About 50 people gather in the synagogue. They pray from the Siddur, they read from the Torah and as they chant, Abor's mellow alto begins to rise.

In a country of 162 million people tensions often lead to violent uprisings between Christians and Muslims and being part of the religious minority can be an issue. But Abor wears his kippah and his identity with pride.

"I am a Jewish Igbo," he says.

The Igbo are one of Nigeria's largest ethnic groups with population estimates ranging from 20 to 50 million. Abor is convinced that the Igbo's ancestors were Jews.

"The son of Yaakov, Jacob, [was] Gad and I learned that he was among those people who went out of Israel to exile," Abor says. "So from there he had a son called Eri and a son gave birth to a son called Aguleri and that's how the Igbo race

 

From generation to generation, some Igbo have passed down various versions of a migration story framed around Jacob, a patriarch of Judaism. A popular version of the narrative holds that Gad, the seventh son of Jacob, had three sons who settled in present-day southeastern Nigeria, which is predominantly inhabited by the Igbo. Those sons, Eri, Arodi and Areli (as mentioned in the book of Genesis), are said to have fathered clans, established kingdoms and founded towns still in existence in southeastern Nigeria today, including Owerri, Umuleri, Arochukwu and Eze A.E. Chukwuemeka Eri, the king of a community in Aguleri, claims he presides over the throne of Gad's son, Eri.

Wearing a white shirt with the Star of David stitched on the front, King Eri points to a calendar on the wall of his palace that lists the names of his 33 predecessors. He has no doubts that Eri is his ancestor. He has even acquired land to establish an educational center for the study of Jewish culture.

"Israelites and Igbos are brothers," he says with a broad smile.

King Eri, like many, claims that the Igbo are the Jews of West Africa. They believe they are descendants of at least one of Israel's lost tribes. In the eighth century B.C. the Assyrians invaded Israel's northern kingdom forcing 10 tribes into exile. Historians say it is not unlikely that these tribes migrated westward to Africa.

Throughout history, large populations of dispersed Jews also became "lost" through forced conversions and cultural assimilation.

 

"There is evidence that is scientific that the Igbos descended from the people that evolved in Israel," says Remy Ilona. He began investigating the stories from his youth more than a decade ago.

"When I grew up I heard, like virtually every Igbo here, that the Igbo people came from Israel," the Abuja-based lawyer says. His field work in Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Mali led him to conclude that Igbo and Jewish culture are not just similar, but "identical."

In his latest book, Ilona draws parallels between Igbo rituals and customs and those practiced by Jews. Shared traditional practices include circumcising male children eight days after birth, refraining from eating "unclean" or tabooed foods, mourning the dead for seven days, celebrating the New Moon and conducting wedding ceremonies under a canopy. Some historians have noted that the Igbo were practicing these customs before their exposure to the Bible and missionaries.

Daniel Lis, from the Institute for Jewish Studies, University of Basel, Switzerland, is one of the foremost researchers on Jewish identification among the Igbo. He says there has been a clear continuity of Jewish identity among the Igbo. "It's not just something that happened yesterday," he says.

The Swiss-Israeli anthropologist says that Igbo-Jewish identity can be traced back to the 18th century. Cross-cultural comparisons have been documented by people ranging from George Thomas Basden, the influential Anglican missionary and ethnographer who proposed that the word "Igbo" evolved as a corruption of the word "Hebrew," to Olaudah Equiano, a freed Igbo slave living in 18th century British society.

 

The oral stories and historic notations of cultural resemblances between the Igbo and the Jews have proven compelling enough to lure a diverse array of people to southeastern Nigeria.

Michael Freund, an American Jew based in Israel, is planning his first trip to Nigeria to get a first-hand look at the culture of the Igbo.

"I've read about them but of course there is nothing like actually hearing the stories of the people themselves," he says.

Discovering "lost" Jewish communities around the world is what Freund does.

He is the founder and chairman of the independent non-profit organization Shavei Israel. According to its media spokesperson Arik Puder, Shavei Israel is the only organization in Israel that focuses on finding descendants of the legendary lost tribes.

He says the Israeli government does not recognize ethnic communities in various countries claiming to be descendants of lost tribes.

"They cannot prove that they have a Jewish grandfather or grandmother," Puder says. "But they do have an interesting story."

 

Freund says he has received numerous letters and emails from Nigerians trying to connect to Israel. But with a rising number of groups around the world attempting to link their ancestry to the ancient Israelites, he is aware that some of those claims are "wishful thinking." He hopes that the future will yield strong genetic evidence to help the search for the lost tribes.

"As DNA technology improves there will be a growing stock of scientific evidence which can perhaps buttress the claims of an Israeli ancestry," he says.

A 2012 documentary called "Re-Emerging: The Jews of Nigeria" featured the country's Jewish community.

The film featured Rabbi Howard Gorin. He retired from the congressional rabbinate in 2012 after 32 years as the spiritual leader of a Jewish congregation in the U.S. state of Maryland. Gorin has played a significant role in the rise of Judaism in Nigeria since his first trip to the country in 2004.

"I embrace them and support them as brothers and sisters," he says. He ships books on Judaism to synagogues in Nigeria.

More support comes from groups like Kulanu, a New York-based non-profit group. Kulanu assists emerging Jewish communities around the world, like the one in Nigeria. But most of the Igbo who practice Judaism were not born to a Jewish mother and have not converted according to halakhah, Jewish law, so many Orthodox Jews would not recognize them.

Even among Igbo people, the claim to be Jews elicits strong criticism. One critic, Catherine Acholonu, attributes Jewish identification among the Igbo as a result of Christianity brought by missionaries, since most Igbo people are Christians.

"Everybody is excited to say they belong to the people of the Bible because the Bible is reigning -- it's in," says Acholonu, a prominent researcher on Igbo history and culture.

In her award-winning book "They Lived Before Adam" Acholonu proposes that Igbo civilization is older than that of the Israelites.

She feels that Igbo people are whitewashing their history and diminishing the value of their own culture by attempting to link their heritage to the Jews.

Peter Agbai, who says he is a "proud Igbo man," strongly disagrees.

He started practicing Judaism in 1991 after leaving the Methodist church. He says that the more he followed the commandments in the Torah, the more he realized that he was doing what his parents had always done as followers of traditional biafra culture and spirituality.

"I have seen that the traditions of our people are similar to those in the Bible," says the 66-year-old, making references to aspects like ritual bathing and polygamy.

Agbai is one of the founders of the Ghihon synagogue. He plays an important role as a spiritual leader in Abuja's community of Igbo Jews. He attended Abor's bar mitzvah last year, an experience that Abor says made him feel like a man, and feel closer to the Jewish culture.

He wants to go deeper into Orthodox Judaism and take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

"I want to live in Israel," Abor says. He hopes that there, he will get a better understanding of his forefathers.

 Justice Binta Nyako:
 After reading out the arguments of the defendants and prosecutors, judge Binta ruled that her court will give room for masking of witnesses.

    "I hearby rule that,the mask witnesses will testify. We shall provide special route for entrance's and exit, for the witnesses. I also state that,from now to Thursday this week,the counsels should come to court and see how the  secret trial works.
   "We will arrange the court and even Lawyers, Journalist etc" judge Nyako stated.

 A drama ensued in the court, as Nnamdi Kanu rejects the injustice from the witness box.
  "This is injustice, Buhari said he will not grant me bail and now the judge is talking about secret trial,this is injustice and I will not subject to it" Mazi Nnamdi Kanu thundered in the court, backed by  Benjamin Madubugwu, who rebuked the secret trial as well.
 
Barrister Ejiofor, however pleaded that the health of his client is severely deteriorating, and therefore should be released; but Binta Nyako, replied him in a somewhat like harsh manner.
 Binta Nyako: "Tell me how you want him to get medical treatment? All this things you are talking about,is sentiment. I have refused to grant him bail,so what other step do you want to take?"

 Barrister Ejiofor: "I want him to be released. My client is very I'll and should be released."

 Binta Nyako: Benjamin, if you continue to speak that way,I will agree you are a nuisance in my court.

 The defendants are infuriating stating that, they were accused in the open and must be tried in the open.

 The defending counsels are calming their clients and are trying to fix a date for the case.

 The case has being adjourned to 10,11 and 12th of January.

A blast at Cairo’s main Coptic Christian cathedral has killed at least 22 people, according to Egyptian state TV.

Sunday’s blast at St Mark’s Cathedral in central Cairo wounded at least another 25 people, the report added.

St Mark’s Cathedral is the seat of Egypt’s Orthodox Christian church and is home to the office of its spiritual leader, Pope Tawadros II.

A bomb was reportedly lobbed inside a chapel that is adjacent to the cathedral’s outer wall.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

On Friday, six policemen were killed in a bomb attack in Cairo claimed by an armed group known as the Hasm movement.

FEC report shows Donald Trump laid out $94m in last push for White House while Hillary Clinton spent $132m and cemented herself as biggest fundraiser

 
Donald Trump’s campaign spent about $94m in its final push for the White House, according to new fundraising reports.

The Republican continued his campaign-long trend of spending far less than Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. Her campaign spent almost $132m in its closing weeks, according to reports filed on Thursday with the Federal Election Commission. The latest reports cover 20 October to 28 November.

Over the course of the primary and general elections the Trump campaign raised about $340m including $66m out of his own pocket. The Clinton campaign, which maintained a longer and more concerted fundraising focus, brought in about $581m.

Brad Parscale, Trump’s digital director who was empowered with spending decisions across the campaign, credited strategic last-minute investments with helping propel the political newcomer to victory.

The campaign and Republican party spent about $5m in get-out-the-vote digital advertising targeted in the final few days to Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida. It proved critical; some of those states were won by razor-thin margins.

“You think, what if we hadn’t spent that?” Parscale said. “We might not have won.”

Another investment that he said paid dividends was $7m to air a two-minute “closing” television commercial. “Our movement is about replacing the failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people,” Trump said as images from his rallies rolled across the screen.

The final FEC report showed the extent of the Trump advertising splurge. The campaign spent nearly $39m on last-minute TV ads and another $29m on digital advertising and consulting work done by Parscale’s firm.

Clinton’s campaign placed a far greater emphasis than Trump on television advertising, a more traditional way of reaching swaths of voters. She spent $72m on TV ads and about $16m on internet ads in the final weeks.

The former secretary of state also spent more than $12m on travel — about double what Trump spent. Clinton, who not only had a money advantage over Trump but a staffing edge, spent more than $4m on a nearly 900-strong payroll.

Still, Clinton’s top campaign aides have acknowledged in post-election appearances that it didn’t always spend money in the right places.

Her campaign manager Robby Mook said at a gathering of political strategists and journalists last week at Harvard University that he regretted not putting more staff in Michigan. When the state certified its results — 20 days after the election— Trump had won by just under 11,000 votes.

Outside groups that spent money on the presidential election also filed reports on Thursday.

Trump got help from the super political action committees Future 45, Make America Number 1 and Rebuilding America Now.

Future 45 and a partner nonprofit that does not disclose donors spent late in the campaign but became Trump’s biggest outside investors. The Las Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and his wife, Miriam, together gave $10m to Future 45 in the final weeks of the campaign, the new reports show.

Former wrestling executive Linda McMahon, whom Trump named this week as head of the Small Business Administration, gave $1m to the group in October. She earlier gave $6m to Rebuilding America Now.

Make America Number 1 benefited from a $1m donation by the PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, now an executive on the Trump transition team.

On Clinton’s side, Priorities USA — which raised and spent more than any super PAC in history — landed $16m in the final weeks of the campaign. That brought its total haul to about $192m.

Some of the group’s final seven-figure contributions came from its most loyal donors: media mogul Haim Saban and investors James Simons and Donald Sussman.

And while the 2016 election is over, the fundraising continues.

The president-elect has raised millions of dollars since 8 November. That money is coming in mostly through purchased merchandise such as hats and ornaments and is paying for Trump’s “thank you” tour, which took him to Ohio and Iowa on Thursday.

 ABUJA--The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, was today 1 December 2016, arraigned at the Federal High Court, Abuja, as adjourned on 17 November 2016 for ruling on bail application. As predicted by Biafrans, the rule of man prevailed over the rule of law today at the Nigerian local court.

 Nnamdi Kanu arrived the high court at exactly 09:55am with the other 3 co-accused persons: Mazi David Nwawuisi re-presented by Barr Maxwell, Mazi Benjamin Madubugwu represented by Barr Mrs Nwankwo and Chidiebere Onwudiwe represented by Barr I. Adoga.

 Shortly after Kanu's arrival, the presiding judge, Justice Binta Nyako arrived the court at 09:58am; the case was called up immediately by the court clerk after which both the defendants' and prosecution counsels (led by Shuaibu Labaran) introduced themselves.

 Ruling on the bail application, Justice Binta reluctantly concluded that kanu will not be granted bail (as instructed by Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president in a media chat). She also cited that according to the constitution, "when a person is charged with felony, it is believed that the person must have committed an offense."

 After reading previous ground posited by the defendants' lawyers applied bail (which included United Nations' Charter on rights to self-determination), Binta argued that it will be improper to grant bail to those with similar charges.

 The presiding judge also presented the prosecution's exhibit ppf1 and ppf2 against the first defendant (Nnamdi Kanu) and the second defendant (David Nwawuisi) and likened it to that of Asari Dokubo who was denied bail on similar grounds.

 Binta, who seemed more like the prosecution counsel than presiding judge, maintained that granting the defendants bail will lead to intimidation of witnesses in the course of the trial and evasion of trial as Buhari had alleged. On this, Counsel to the first defendant, Barr Ifeanyi Ejiofor, argued that his client will not jump bail if granted; noting that it is their right to seek for such relief from the court.
 
Ejiofor also stated that the prosecution has no evidence to prove or substantiate the charges leveled against Nnamdi Kanu while he maintained that IPOB activities which has largely been peaceful and are within the context of the law cannot be likened to Asari Dokubo's case or the Boko Haram sect. Barr Ejiofor relied on Sub Section 6(5) of the constitution as a procedure to be followed on granting Nnamdi Kanu bail.

 Delivering her final judgment, Binta ruled that "the offenses leveled against the defendants are grievous and would not be granted bail". She went further to say that the trial will proceed immediately in not later than 1 or 2 months.

 At this point, the prosecution counsel demanded that his witnesses be masked ahead of trial. Barr Nwankwo stood against this demand, charging that the defendants need more protection than the prosecution's witnesses; but Binta ruled that it is within the court's discretion to decide whether or not to allow masked witnesses.

 Recall that Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail by the Magistrate Court on 19 October 2015, and was ordered to be released UNCONDITIONALLY on 17 December 2015 at the Federal High Court Abuja by Justice Adeniyi Ademola (who has since been under intense prosecution by the federal government of Nigeria). Yet, today's court rulings were all made in disregard of those standing court orders.

IPOB diplomatic mission records huge success, as EU Parliamentarian confirms meeting with IPOB leadership caucus

 The Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu have recorded  another landmark achievement, as the diplomatic mission embarked upon by the leadership caucus permeates the the heart of the European Union Parliament.

 In a recent development, a top member of the European Union Parliament, Mrs, Julie Ward (MEP) confirmed meeting some Biafran top officials, led by Mr. Uche Mefor, the Deputy leader of the Indigenous People.
 
 According to her statement, the representative of North West England for the United Kingdom Labour Party, noted that the meeting with IPOB big-wigs is characterised with discussions on how to secure the immediate and safe release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra who has been incarcerated by the Nigerian government since October 14, 2015.

  She also revealed that one of the major issues discussed is the incessant violence and extermination being perpetrated against Biafrans by the Nigerian government, as well possible steps to guarantee the freedom of Biafrans from Nigeria.
     Very important meeting in European Parliament with representatives of Indigenous People of #Biafra #FreedomforKanu #IPOB," the Parliamentarian stated through a statement published on her twitter page.

 Continuing, she promised that she "will not stop fighting" to ensure that justice prevails for Nnamdi Kanu and Biafrans in general.
    "Meeting with #IPOB discussed steps to free #NnamdiKanu from prison & end Nigerian gov violence towards Biafrans. We will not stop fighting."

 Meanwhile, the Nigerian seat of power are reportedly shocked and in a state of disarray over this latest development.

​The world stood still on Tuesday the 29th of November 2016, when the two formidable Biafran football clubs in Malaysia (IPOB Kuala Lumpur and IPOB Penang football clubs) in an enthralling game of football slugged it out in their first ever official Biafran Football March played between the two clubs in Kuala Lumpur (KL) Malaysia,

The March which was played in Kuala Lumpur and hosted by Biafrans in KL saw Team Penang beat their host 2-nill; each of the goals came during the first and second half of the game, respectively. Meanwhile, the IPOB Team Kuala Lumpur were looking forward to clinching the first winning position of the series but their hope was dashed when they eventually ended up losing 0-2 to their guest in the early minutes of the second half. The Penang Biafra football team were obviously in control of the pace of the game from the beginning to the end of the March. Meanwhile the game was played in a very thrilling and brotherly atmosphere and it ended without any injuries to any side.

In a relentless effort to reach out conveniently to the world and Biafrans all over the world, IPOB launches another ‘second’ short wave session. This means that one can listen to both time to engage Radio Biafra; either the 19.00 session or 4.00 session AT 15325 kHz AT 19 METER BAND.

This second session of Radio Biafra short wave shall take effect from 1st December 2016 timed at 16.00-17.00 which is equivalent to 4 pm to 5 pm Biafra Time. We enjoin Biafrans and lovers of freedom all over the world to tune in and participate in the world cherished radio Biafra where truth is sacrosanct.

Your listenership and total participation is needed as we soldier on to the freedom of the oppressed people of Biafra.  Not only did Nigeria deny the brutal murder of Biafrans; they went as far as accusing Amnesty International of witch-hunting them or set up to tarnish their image. Then when Amnesty International uploaded a clip; strong evidence that they gruesomely murdered Nnamdi Kanus’ people who were praying and singing for the release of their leader, they could not help it as the coldness that went down their spine left them frozen. More denial after that video will not only annoy the world; it would motivate direct action against the State. They went in and thought once more over their mistakes; had they left Nnamdi Kanu and explored other options, life would not have been this regrettable.

 87 videos and they still have the audacity to open their mouth to accuse Amnesty; a man the gods want to kill, they first make him mad. It would be fair to conclude that Nigeria is not aware of the path they are on. Nigeria is on her way station to ICC and it would be better they know before the journey is completed. ICC is not a place Tsoho can be ordered to subvert justice or Justice Binta Nyako forced to compromise justice. There will be nobody to be threatened and justice will count; the evidences will speak louder and there would be nothing left but a bar.

 It takes a Country without focus to begin to fight a world recognized and respected Human Right Institution like Amnesty International, not only is the human right group respectable but also credible. By virtue of history and experience; Amnesty International is a professional institutional that has credibly gone about policing the police and everything that has to do with Human Right question. It also takes a failed State to say that a Human Right group is fighting his Government; one would begin to wonder what concerns Human Right Institution with politics. Had Nnamdi Kanu not been arrested or had the Court been allowed to adjudicate and orders obeyed in response to respecting Nnamdi Kanu’s rights, Amnesty International would not have come in.

 The denial of the report by Nigerian government tried to tarnish the image of the Human Right Institution and that probably prompted the video upload. With 87 videos, pictures and eye witnesses; denial and then fighting Amnesty do not count in any way or place. It is said that anything that comes in contact with Nigeria gets corrupt and when you fail to get corrupt, you automatically become a threat. The denial by Nigerian government and accusation to discredit Amnesty International is a mistake that have set them on a war path with the Right group.

 This is likely a show of strength over who wins Nnamdi Kanu- should Amnesty win, it is victory for humanity and Rights and if Nigeria succeeds, then human right is successfully trampled. Nigeria is hell bent on destroying or rather trampling on the human rights of Nnamdi Kanu and his people while Amnesty is hell bent on preserving human rights and Nnamdi Kanu is the epitome of the war or rather the allegory. The war was made visible with Nnamdi Kanu’s matter and while this show of strength endures; it is imperative to draw their various lines of actions.

 With in-depth reports and awakening of the conscience and consciousness of mankind; Amnesty International will be able to whip up sympathy that will make International Community compel Muhammed Buhari to respect the rights of Biafrans. The people of Biafra have succeeded in getting sufficient video evidence of the genocide going on in Biafra land which will prove decisive to the matter. With the case already in ICC; this will give the matter momentum and be an avenue for Amnesty International to thrive. With pressure that will henceforth be coming from that quarter; if Nigeria fails to look into addressing the matter to the expected height, they might be in for another Ivory Coast scene.

 Though it looks like Nigerian President and some Governors are destined for ICC but a couple of action can preserve them or buy them more time. Hence the major focus of ICC is to bring the perpetrators of this crime against humanity to book; Nigeria can step up independent commission of inquiry to look into the matter which will first start by releasing Nnamdi Kanu and bringing the perpetrators to book. In most cases, Buhari who has continued to show that he ordered the military action can resign and give himself in for trial in Nigeria. Anything short of this move would definitely land him in ICC and then to dine and sleep with Gbagbo.

 Finally, it is imperative to bring to the knowledge of Nigeria that they cannot win this war; human Right is a thing protected without boundaries and Amnesty International has immense and surplus evidences that can nail them. At the end of the day Nigeria will be destroyed because there are plenty of undeniable evidences starring at the world. There is no way abuse of human Right will continue to linger or win. Amnesty is light that would definitely conquer darkness for wherever light comes, darkness is suppressed.
